Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vidyalaya and Junior College, Vikhroli

At the time of its inception, the school began with a strength of 23 students in Standard V. Over the years, the institution has shown remarkable growth. As of today, the school has a total strength of 1032 students, and the teaching and non-teaching staff has increased from 4 to 32 members.
The first SSC batch appeared for the Board Examination in the year 1985, achieving an impressive result of 88%. Since then, the school has consistently maintained an academic result above 95% for the last 46 years, reflecting its strong commitment to quality education.
The students of the school come from various strata of society and economic backgrounds. The institution takes pride in catering to these diverse needs while ensuring academic excellence.
The school has also produced outstanding academic achievers. In the year 2009, Master Akshay Vijay Parab secured 98 marks in Marathi and stood first in Maharashtra in the SSC Board Examination. In 2021, Miss Arya Jitendra Bhosale secured 100% marks in the SSC Board Examination.
Along with academics, the school conducts various curricular and co-curricular activities to ensure the all-round development of students. The institution is supported by a team of well-qualified, experienced, and specialized teachers who continuously motivate students to bring out the best in their talents and abilities.
