Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Vidyalaya was established in 1979.It was founded with a view to impart education in English Medium to the aspiring children of Kannamwar Nagar.To Start there were 23 Students on the Roll for Std.Vth.
As on date we have a strength of 974 students and Teaching & Non-Teaching staff from 4 to 32.The first SSc batch appeared for Board Exam in 1985.The Result of the first board exam was 88%.
Our students come from various stratas of the Society and economy.We are proud to cater this need and maintain a result above 90% for the last 32 Years. In the year 2009 Master Akshay Vijay Parab secured 98 marks in Marathi Subject and stood first in Maharashtra in S.S.C Board. In the year 2021 Miss. Arya Jitendra Bhosale secured 100% marks in SSC Board.
The School conducts various curricular activities and Co-curricular activities for all round development of students.We have a composition of all specialized and well qualified teachers.These teachers motivate our students to bring out the best talent in them.
